“Mad Woman” – Nigerians Hurl Insults At Kemi Olunloyo Over #EndSARS Comment

Retired journalist and blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has been attacked by Twitter users, after she made a controversial tweet against the ongoing #ENDSARS Campaign in Nigeria.

The controversial journalist turned pharmacist took to her Twitter handle to speak against youths who are protesting and calling for the ban of the police unit tagged Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

According to her, the youths who are calling for the ban are criminals themselves.

Kemi Olunloyo wrote;
“If you are 18-25 yo on Twitter protesting #endsars you are possibly a criminal if you claim harassment and extortion and NEVER reported it to @PoliceNG_CRU. Even the armed robbers are screaming #EndSARSImmediately.”

Following the tweet, which many termed “insensitive”, Nigerians are calling for her account to be banned, as they threw insults at her. Some alleged that she was paid the sum of N200,000 by the police to oppose the #EndSARS protests.
