Hisbah Police In Kano Forcefully Shave Youths For Carrying Un-Islamic Haircuts (Photos)

According to reports, the Hisbah police in Kano State, are said to forcefully shave young men for carrying haircuts
which they say are ‘un-islamic’.

They also frequently arrests Tricycle riders for decorating their Keke Napep with photos and wallpapers which they consider obscene and not suitable in islam.

The Hisbah police have also been reported by Sahara Reporters to punish youths wearing three-quarter jean trousers and other various kinds of knickers which they tag “improper dressing”.

The Kano State Hisbah Corps is a religious police force in Kano state, Nigeria, which are said to be responsible for the enforcement of the Sharia law.
