Sahara Reporters founder, Omoyele Sowore, has taken to his social media page to celebrate his 16th wedding
anniversary with his wife, Opeyemi Sowore.
The RevolutionNow convener praised his wife whom he referred to as “Iron Lady”. He lamented about not being able to see his family who are in the United States, due to the current struggles he is facing with the government.

It would be recalled that before he was granted bail at the High Court and finally released in December 2019, the former presidential candidate was asked to drop his passport with the court as part of his bail conditions.
Sharing lovely pictures of his family, Sowore wrote;
“Today is my wedding anniversary, 16 years ago I got married to the lady you’ve now come to know as the Iron Lady, 5 years later, my son was born, he’s also 11 years old today.
“My in-laws, the Oluwoles are some of the best I’ve known in the whole wide world, I haven’t seen them in more than one year because of another PERMANENT entanglement I’ve always had, The STRUGGLE! Most importantly, because of a regime of injustice entrenched in my country, Nigeria #Revolutionnow#NoGoingBack”
