Oduduwa Group Unveils New Passport, Currency As They Prepare To Secede (Video)

An agitating group under the Oduduwa Nation has launched a new currency and passport ahead of their planned
one million global man-march scheduled to hold on October 1, 2020.

It would be recalled that the Yoruba secessionist group had on August 12, announced to hold a global million man-march come October 1, 2020. They also urged the general public to partake from their respective place of residence.

The group in a separate report said they are working in the same view with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in making sure every Indigenous ethnic group manage their resources.

Included in the viral video shared by ScanNews24, are the new Coat of Arms, International Passport, and other relevant insignia.

The released currency which appears like a pilot design is inscribed most Yoruba cultural heritage under ‘Bank of Oduduwa’.

Notes made available include 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 Odua currencies.

The areas mapped out to be part of the Yoruba Republic include; Lagos, Akoko Edo, Osun, Ekiti, Itshekiri, Kwara, Ogun, Ondo, Okun, and Oyo.

Like IPOB, the Oduduwa agitating secessionists believe that the group’s sovereignty is ‘not negotiable’. IPOB members have been tagged terrorists and have faced strict clamp downs and oppression by Nigeria security agencies since the beginning of their agitation.

Based on that, it would be difficult to think that their struggle won’t face same unfair treatment meted out on their South-eastern counterparts.

However, if both regions persevere in the calls for sovereign nations, the Nigeria we know today might cease to exist in no distant time, as other minor regions like the Middle Belt and even the Ogoni people of the South-South (who have for long, wanted to secede) may join the course.
