Mechanic Allegedly Flees With Customer’s Car In Imo State (Photos)

A roadside mechanic who hails from Omoku in Rivers State, has allegedly taken off with a customer's car at
Nkwola-Eziama community in Owerri, Imo State.

According to a gospel music minister, who shared the report on Saturday, September 26, one Mrs Chinyere Ezeji said that their car broke down along Amala/Eziama road on Friday.

The car was later towed to Nkwola-Eziama where a roadside mechanic identified as Chukwudi, started to repair the car.

Details about the incident are still sketchy but it was gathered that the mechanic, in the course of fixing the car, drove off with the car, in the guise of test-running it and never returned.

Here's what the gospel singer shared;

“As we were traveling yesterday for a burial in our village with Rev Cyril Nwaelele’s car, the car developed fault along Amala/eziama road. Some good Samaritans helped us to tow it to nkwoala-eziama, where we got a mechanic who involved this so called electrician who corrected the error and made away with the vehicle.

“From information gathered the Man’s name is chukwudi from omoku. Please any body with any vital information that will help us to recover this vehicle should please indicate.”
