    Lady Arrested For Allegedly Blackmailing Peace Mass Transit Company


    According to reports, the police in Abuja have arrested one Frances Tabitha Olisa Ogbonnaya, a woman
    allegedly tried to blackmail Peace Mass Transit Ltd., a transportation company, in order to forcefully get money from them.

    It was gathered that the young lady who lives in Lagos, had posted several write-ups against the company on her Facebook wall sometime last year.

    Dhe claimed that 18 passengers of PMT had died in an accident on the Ore-Benin road, which the company later denied was true, particularly as no PMT bus carries such number of passengers at once.

    Ms.Frances was arrested following a petition dated February 3, 2020, and addressed to the IGP, on behalf of PMT, by Barr. Okani E.I.

    In the petition, Barr. Okani stated that Frances Ogbonnaya had engaged in criminal blackmail, cyber bullying, stalking and harassment of Peace Mass Transit Ltd.
