“I’m No Longer Alone” – Erica Thanks Fans Who Fought Teni And Laycon For Her

After Laycon’s fans (Icons) dragged Erica following his genotype revelation, Her own fans took to
Twitter to defend her and she has now come out to thank them for fighting for her.

It would be recalled that Erica got disqualified after she insulted Laycon– who is now among the top 5 finalists in the house, threatening to kill him, amidst breaking other Big Brother Naija house rules.

She later apologized for her actions; first to the housemates, then to Big Brother, and later in a post-BBNaija video, in which she offered a passionate apology to Laycon, the housemates, and to the viewers of the show.

But on Wednesday, September 23, when Laycon revealed that his genotype was SC (sickle cell gene), Nigerians who are his fans used it as an opportunity to troll Erica alleging that she knew about his medical condition and that was why she said, “Laycon won’t live beyond 50 years”.

Subsequently, Erica’s fans rose to her defence; the fight was a war of hash tag trends on Twitter. It was dirty even.

They went to the extent of even tagging popular Nigerian singer, Teni a tribalist for calling Erica “Omo Igbo” in a video.

Thankful for how her fans trooped to micro blogging platform to defend her against trolls, Erica took to her Twitter account to appreciate her fans for standing by her.
