“Your Time Is Short” – Pastor Chris Tells FG For Limiting The Duration Of Church Service (Video)

The new guidelines for reopening of worship centres across the country, amid the coronavirus pandemic, includes limited duration for church services and it does not sit well with most religious leaders, and Pastor Chris is leading the queue.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, General overseer of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, has condemned the recent guideline in all its entirety.

The guidelines while lifting the ban on religious centres was that the duration of services in churches and mosques must not exceed one hour at a time.

In a live a broadcast to members of his church, Pastor Chris said the government had no right to take such decision, while also expressing disgust at the directive.

“I am appalled that some people have the audacity to tell us how many hours we can spend in church. How dare you? What in the world do you think you are? Your time is short.

“You cannot tell God’s people how long they can spend in church. If you built the building for them and you are saying you are not going to let them enter the building, maybe because you built it.
“But if you didn’t, you have no right to tell God’s people you’re going to spend one hour or two hours in church. I tell you, the number of hours you tell them they have in the church is the number of hours you have left,” the Cleric said.
