    Police Arrests Naira Marley


    Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley has been arrested by the police for
    flouting guidelines set by Federal Government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the country.

    According to reports, the ‘Tesumole’ crooner was nabbed on Thursday, August 6, in Lagos State and is presently in detention.

    It would be recalled that Naira Marley was airlifted to Abuja by a charter and aircraft maintenance firm, Executive Jet Services, for a concert a couple of months ago, despite being aware of the inter-state travel ban and rules put in place against large gatherings in a confined space.

    The public had condemned the singer for holding a concert and disregarding the social distancing rule.

    The Executive jet services was also suspended for a while for flying the singer to Abuja.
