Lady Who Stole Cassava Made To Carry It Round The Village In Abia (Photos)

A married woman, whose name was not mentioned at press time, have been publicly disgraced after she was caught
red-handed, stealing cassava tubers from someone's farmland.

According to reports, she was caught on Monday, August 3, stealing the cassava from a farm in Nkwedi village of Ohafia local government area in Abia State.

After she was seen carrying out the act, the villagers decided to make her carry the big bag of farm produce she had stolen, and walk around the community.

The lady got more than she bargained for as she was paraded through out the village, whilst children and others taunt her and call her names.

According to an eyewitness;
“A vibrant married lady without disability was caught stealing cassava from someone farm who also struggle to cultivate the farm.

She was made to carry the cassava on her head and was paraded round the village as she had to bear the heavy pain on her neck and shame of her act.”
