The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted after suspected herdsmen slaughtered a pregnant lady and her
husband at their residence in Aziko community, Bayelsa State.
In a press release by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, the group vowed to retaliate, whilst condoling with the family of the victims.

“We strongly condemn this atrocity and the persistent killings in Biafra land and we guarantee the perpetrators of this heinous crime and their sponsors that they are going to regret their actions soon.
“We can not explain why the world continues to be quiet over the on-going genocide in Biafra land however we know that herdsmen footsoldiers and their sponsors behind this evil won’t go unpunished.
“IPOB can not allow these blood suckers to go free with these barbaric killings.
“We can't allow these vampires to carry out the atrocities in Southern Kaduna in any a part of Biafraland.
“If they continue pushing us to the wall, no part of Biafra and even the country will be a secure haven for them anytime we begin paying them back in their very own coin.
“IPOB has been monitoring and watching them intently, and we know their evil plot to probably get rid of Biafrans. However that evil mission can never be achieved in our life.
“May we remind Biafrans once again that everyone both man and woman must be prepared because the right time for revenge is fast approaching, their continued mayhem must be resisted.
“What is going on in Southern Kaduna the place herdsmen, Boko Haram, bandits and different groups are busy slaughtering harmless Christians with no help from authorities is a sign that Nigeria is already a failed state. However IPOB is able to repel them from Biafra land irrespective of the price.”
He assured that the herdsmen assault at Azikoro community in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State would mark the end of jihadists in Biafra land.
