“Igbos No Longer Buy Our Meat, Nnamdi Kanu Poisoned Their Mind” – Miyetti Allah Laments

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria Southeast Chairman, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, have
lamented about the decrease in patronage from Igbo people.

Speaking with reporters in Akwa, Anambra State, Siddiki said the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu was poisoning the mind the Igbos, who used to be their best customers but have stopped patronizing them.

He said the issue is no longer the herders and Community again, but the issues of Nnamdi Kanu, who stopped his members from buying from meat from them. Siddiki, said they have lost more customers in Igbo land, where they make huge sales, because during Igbo traditional weddings, they make good sales.

“We no longer sell cows like we used to because people no longer celebrates Marriages and burials like before. These are some of the events that gives us sales.

“Also, the Igbo no longer patronize us, because their leader, Nnamdi Kanu has poisoned their mind against us.

“Again, cows have become expensive due to high cost of transportation, our volume of sales has gone down very much,” Siddiki said.

He however urged the people of the area to patronize them as they can’t eat the cow meat alone.
