According to reports, Nine police officers including a Divisional Police
Officer have gone missing in Enugu State.
The disappearance is being reported as “kidnap”.
This is happening barely four days after security operatives attacked members if the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) during a prayer meeting in Emene, Enugu State, killing at least 21 unarmed members of the group.

The group had threatened reprisal attacks against the security operatives in the state. However, as at the time of filling this report, there is nothing to link the current disappearances to the IPOB.
