You Give Terrorists Who Slice Throats N20k, While People Who Steal Akara Rot In Jail – CUPP

The Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), has condemned the recent development made by the President Muhamadu Buhari government, with regards to the alleged repented Boko Haram members.

Recall, we reported that the Defence Headquarters reintegrated 601 former Boko Haram terrorists into the society.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the spokesman of the CUPP, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, called the new development an insensitive one due to the cause, that some Nigerians who stole Akara (Bean cake) are serving a long term in Prison. But the Nigerian president reintegrated Boko Haram members that have killed thousands of people.

“They didn’t go to prison, people that steal Akara go to prison to serve months but these ones didn’t serve anywhere. Buhari carries them, feed them, keeps them somewhere, give them a football pitch and after some months you give them 20,000 naira with the saying that they have being reintegrated into the society with no capacity to monitor their progress because some people wants to be making money out of this whole Nonsense,” he said. 

According to him, it was impossible to readapt a terrorist within 2-3 months. Airing that even believers are not Holy not to talk of people who had slice people’s throat in the past. 

“It is the height of insensitivity that unrepresented Boko Haram members, murderers that have being ravaging major part of North east, you gather them because you want to make money. Then you talk about training and reintegrating them into the society. 

“A man who can slice someone’s throat, you can train him in less than 2, 3 months to adopt back to the society? Even people living inside the church are not holy not to talk of someone slicing people’s throat and in less than 2-3 months you have trained him and taken him back into the society. 

“Now look at the killing, destruction, the development in the northeast they have stopped and what is happening in southern Kaduna, where there is killing that are very painful to the heart. People are being killed everyday in large numbers. The president and Gov. El rufai has not done anything to stop the painful killing of people in southern Kaduna. But you go and carry Boko Haram people, train them, give them 20,000 and allow them to go back.

“What of our prisoners? People who were convicted for rape, who didn’t kill, people who were convicted for stealing bag of rice and Akara.

“When they are release are they given N20,000. Some of them are in Prison because they can’t meet their release condition of maybe N10,000. But you have money to give an Idiot who was slicing somebody’s throat,” he said.
