SARS Opens Fire On A Suspected Car Thief, Cause Accidents (Photos)


Apprehension filled the air on the morning of Monday, July 6, in Olorunsogo estate Adjacent Federal low cost housing estate, Sabo, Itokin road, Ikorodu, lagos state.
Trouble started when a team of special anti-robbery squad (SARS) attempted to intercept what seemed to be a car theft.

The SARS operatives where seen chasing down a Toyata camry with a deflated tire in a congested area. According to an eyewitness the driver of the camry being chased drove against traffic with lots of pedestrians and motorists oblivious to what was going on. 

The SARS Officials opened fire on the Toyata car and its driver. The barrage of bullets caused the Camry to ram into an electric pole, the pole, in turn caved in, broke and fell on a parked Toyota Rav4 car, which the owner claimed he came to service. 

However, the operatives arrested the Toyota driver whom they were after. They took him to Sagamu Road police station.
The man whose car was damaged, turned out to be a lawyer. He seized the Camry’s key, insisting his car must be repaired.

The SARS operatives came back, towed the Toyota Camry away and asked the the owner of the damaged SUV to follow them to Sagamu Police station.
