Pastor Slumps And Dies While Praying In His Church In Delta

The General Overseer and founder of a new generation church (names withheld) located along Stadium Road, off Cemetery Road, Warri, Delta State, has collapsed and died on the alter of his church while praying during a morning devotion on Friday, July 3, 2020.

The sudden incident left members of the church in shock as no one expected something like that to happen, inside a church.

As at the time of filling this report, the cause of the Pastor's death was not known. Although a member of the church disclosed to our source that the deceased man of God had underlying health issues before the incident.

It was further gathered that the pastor did not die immediately after he slumped. But instead of the members of the church to rush him off to the nearest hospital, they kick-started bouts of prayers for the Clergyman. 

Unfortunately he died in the process.

Nevertheless, there were mixed reactions from members of the church on the sudden demise of their leader as some believed that it was a divine exit from planet earth, while others saw it as a tragic and painful loss to them and the congregation entirely.
