Mother Devastated As All 8 Of Her Children Die In Lagos Building Collapse (Photos)


It was a black Tuesday for most, but particularly for a mother-of-eight who lost all eight children in the building that collapsed in Lagos State.
It was gathered that all eight children were siblings and were inside their apartment in the building, when it collapsed. The mother of the eight children told reporters that she had been noticing some shaking and cracking noises during the day.

According to her, she and her husband had reported their observation to the landlord about three months ago. The landlord told had reportedly told them that work on the property will commence immediately after the ban on interstate travel is lifted before the tragic incident. 

There have been other series of building collapse in the state. The previous one occurred about a couple of weeks ago at Ogudu area of Lagos State. Two children (ages not ascertained) were trapped and killed when a storey-building collapsed.
The building located at 46 Gafari Balogun Street, Ogudu was said to have collapsed at about 12:35 pm as a result of a mudslide which occurred at the rear of the building, following a heavy rainfall.
