Heavily Armed Policemen Storm Joi Nunieh’s Residence In Port-Harcourt (Photo)

According to reports, heavily armed policemen have on Thursday, July 16, stormed the house of Joi Nunieh, former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), who is scheduled to testify before a House of Representatives panel today as part of the ongoing probe of NDDC.

It was gathered that the policemen arrived at Nunieh’s residence located at 3 Owuru Creek View, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, at precisely 4am.

According to an eyewitness who shared the report, it could mean that she is not allowed to leave. 

The source said; 

“Their presence means she cannot leave for the Port Harcourt International Airport, where she should be connecting a flight to Abuja.” 

It would be recalled that there's an ongoing investigative hearing and probe against NDDC, over corruption allegations.

Joi Nunieh recently accused the Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio of trying to “come up” on her after failing to bribe her and convince her to take an oath of secrecy in Abuja.
