Viral Video Of 2 Women Fearlessly Robbing A Supermarket In Broad Daylight

A CCTV footage released on Wednesday, June 3, has captured the moment two women daringly stole from a
supermarket in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya.

The time-stamp on the security feed indicated that the stealing took place on Sunday afternoon, May 31, in a small supermarket located in an area within Eldoret known as Hawaii.

The video showed three women in a section of the supermarket, but only two were captured red-handed stealing essential food and house-hold items. 

The women wore very long, flowing skirts for the occasion, which they used to expertly conceal the stolen goods within seconds of taking them off the shelves. 

Here are some reactions from people who saw the video; 

One Lucy Njeri said; “These thieves are very cunning and they usually operate in groups. I've dealt with them before.”

“Their brazen approach to the theft left many Kenyans online surprised as they questioned the motivation behind the daylight robbery without violence.

“We can't sympathise with thieves at all. There are other ways of getting food rather than stealing,” one Arthur Njoro observed.
