More bone-chilling details have emerged on the gruesome r*pe of a three-month-old baby at Adogi in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to new reports, the baby was not just raped, her private part and anus were harvested for ritual purposes as seen in the graphic photos below.
It was earlier reported that the baby was stolen from her sleeping mom’s side around 2 am on May 27, 2020. She was later discovered in a pool of blood and abandoned at an uncompleted building about seven miles from their house. She had been brutally r*ped.

Revealing the sordid details, Mrs Zule Inusa, the victim’s 45-year-old grandmother said that the assailants are suspected ritualists, noting that parts of the baby’s private parts and anus were cut off and carted away.

She stated that the family was asleep and the door to their room was left open owing to excess heat being experienced in the area.
“We were together with my daughter that fateful night and nobody imagined something of this nature will happen to my grandchild,” Mrs Inusa said.

Mrs Inusa also revealed that when the baby was found lying in the building at 3am with her pant kept aside, she was rushed to Agule private hospital in Adogi but the medical personnel could not handle the situation. From there, they were referred to Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital [DASh], Lafia but, here too, no medical personnel could handle the situation and they were further referred to JUTH where the victim is currently receiving surgical treatment.
