Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem favourite couple, Ike Onyema and Mercy Eke have won the most popular Nigerian couple award at this year's NET Honours People's Choice awards.
The couple were nominated alongside other Nigerian celebrity couples, like Simi and husband, Adekunle Gold, Funke Akindele and husband, JJC Skillz, Banky W and his wife, Adesua Etomi, and lastly, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma.

Announcing them as winners, the Net Ng wrote;
“The NET Honours Class of 2020 ‘Most Popular Couple’ is @official_mercyeke and @iam_ikeonyema.
From Biggie’s House to the real world, they’re still going strong.
Congratulations Mercy and Ike!”
Mercy Eke and Ike Onyema met during Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem show in 2019 and have since become an item. It was rumoured that they broke up a few months after they left the reality tv show.
However, the duo came out to reveal that they were still together and that their romance was hotter than ever when they launched their show – Mercy & Ike
The show premiered April 26 on DSTV.
