LASTMA Officials Beat Up Lady In Lagos, Seize Her Car And N400K Over Bribe (Video)


Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, have on Monday, June 29, pummeled a woman
to stupor after she protested when they tried to tow her car away for allegedly not giving them bribe.

In the pictures and video shared, the woman and a second lady who was with her were physically assaulted, some strands of braids were also ripped off the head of the second lady in the course of the assault.

In the video, the lady kept screaming that the LASTMA Officials were trying to tow away her car, even though the car was parked right in front of her shop. 

The woman whose name is withheld also claimed she had the of N400,000 in her car when they took it away but on visiting their Iyana Ejigbo office, the money which she said was for her business, was no longer in the vehicle.

The LASTMA Officials could be heard in the video, telling her to go and call her husband or anyone she likes for that matter, while onlookers crowded the scene.
