Hundreds Of Youths Chase Fulani Herdsmen Away From Their Community In Imo (Video)

The people of Agbala community in Owerri North Local Government of Imo State came out in hundreds, went into the bush and chased away all fulani herdsmen from their community.

According to the video, the youths revealed that they could not find longer take the havoc, continuously caused by the herdsmen in Owerri North.

They said they have suffered too much from the herdsmen and since the government won’t do anything they will.

There have been reports of cases where these Fulani herdsmen have been linked to killing and maiming of people, raping children, mothers, and destroying farm products.

This is coming just days after the Igbo National Congress (INC) launched what it calls ‘Operation Lion Walk’, a regional security network for the protection of the south-east forests and farmlands against the brutal murder and maiming of local farmers by marauding Fulani herdsmen.

In a statement made by the leadership of the INC, the group has decided to take a stand against killings and raping of farmers by these violent strangers, since the South-east governors has refused to set up a regional vigilante force.
