Hausa/Fulani Okada Men Allegedly Attack Security Officials In Lekki With Nails


According to reports, a riot broke out on Friday morning, May 22, at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State as security men on patrol were allegedly attacked by Hausa/Fulani commercial motorcyclists.
It was gathered that the security officials were at their duty post at Kayode Animashaun on Friday, when about 20 armed hausa motorcyclists, holding sticks and huge nails stormed the area and attacking the unarmed security officials and leaving them terribly injured.

The offending party continued with the raucous for a while, making sure they dealt with the officials before leaving. 

The Divisional Police Officer and Sherrifs of Lekki Residents Association (LERA), reportedly arrived the scene soon after the attackers fled. 

The reason behind the violent attack could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
However, officials at the Maroko Police Station are currently investigating the case to unravel the cause of such violence.
