I Faced A Lot Of Obstacles Ten Years Ago – Khafi Shares Throwback Photo

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Khafi Khareem has shared an unbelievably amazing story that happened to
her about a decade ago.

The 30-year-old reality TV star took to the gram to share a throwback photo of her standing on a race track, taking part in the Paris Marathon 2010. She recounted all the obstacles she had to go through to participate in the marathon then.

Here's what she wrote;
“Ten years ago this month I ran the Paris Marathon. I crossed the finish line in tears and the medical team came running up to me thinking I was crying because I was in pain, but actually I was crying tears of joy and disbelief that I had made it to the end of running 26.2 miles /42 km on foot.

“I remember all of the obstacles I had faced in order to just make it to the start line of the marathon those 10 years ago, let alone finishing it. I came away thinking that I could do absolutely anything, that nothing was impossible and I still truly believe that. We are stronger than we know.”
